Welcome to Mrs. Dinh's second grade!!!
 
This is my eighth year teaching at Harriet Tubman Village Charter School. I love being part of this village to promote learning and establish trust within our community. I received my bachelor degree in Human Biology with a minor in Education from University of California, San Diego. I earned my multiple teaching credential from San Diego State University. I got my Master in Education from San Diego State University. I love to travel and learn about different cultures.
 
I am so excited to begin a new school year. Below is a school supply list for second grade.  Please bring the items below to the classroom. Since all the supplies will be community supplies, shared by all students, please bring the supplies without your child’s name. Please place the unlabeled supplies in a bag with your child’s name on it.

 

TO BRING TO SCHOOL EVERYDAY

*A large backpack labeled with student’s FULL NAME.  NO WHEELED BACKPACKS!

*Please label your child's lunch box and outerwear with FULL NAME

 

Please bring each of these items listed below:

4 packages pre-sharpened #2 pencils with erasers
2 pink wedge erasers or 1 Hi-Polymer erasers pack (3 pack)
package of Crayola Crayons - Standard Color Pack (24 pack)
1 Packages of Crayola Colored Pencils (12 Pack)
12 pack Elmer’s Glue Sticks
4 two-pocket folders - Generic colors (no logos, animals, prints etc.)
3 Mead composition books; wide ruled, whole page (not the 1st grade style)
3x 1 inch wide, 3 ring binder, *Hardcover* Needs to lay flat by itself when opened. The rings need to easily open.
4 black thin line whiteboard markers – Expo brand
Disinfecting Wipes

Color Copy Paper  
Post-it Notes
Whiteboard Expo Markers – thick
