Transitional Kindergarten

UNIVERSAL TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN (UTK)

Universal Transitional Kindergarten is a new grade level preceding Kindergarten and it is open to all pupils turning 4 before September 1st. Parents may contact our school directly to inquire about space availability for 2024-2025 UTK enrollment. If space is not available, please contact our School and Enrollment Options at 619-668-8635 to find a seat at our school site with space availability.

Notes:

The School also offers an Extended-Day Early Learning Program for 4-year old children for qualifying families.

Children who turn 5 years old on or by September 1 are age-eligible for Kindergarten and will not be enrolled in UTK.

Eligibility

Students born between September 2, 2019 and April 2nd, 2020

Note: Students must be turning 4 years old before September 1st to be eligible for UTK.

Up-to-Date Immunization
IEP (if applicable)
