hi guys I just want to check in I didn't get you a morning announcement yesterday was kind of a busy day I getting back to parents and accountability logs my kind of thing so I'll do that today so I noticed looking through the materials that I sent out for this week citing a subtraction slides there is some errors in the day to it looks like I forgot to save when I change the word problems after the cake problem so there is a birthday cake problem and after that there's like an Emoji hat problem and I've got the numbers on the slide but the word problem is the same as a birthday cake problem I will try to make those Corrections today so I will change the word problems but if you are already working on that stuff you're more than welcome to just use the numbers in the picture and do it like a tradition traction problem so you see my numbers and ignoring or just covering up the words and not worrying about what the words have to say I'm sorry about that mistake on soap a little more attention before I submit things just make sure I don't make them in the future as far as language arts today today in your ride read aloud I think it's who's awakened Springtime and the activities and art activity it instructs you to gather all the art materials that you have a ride your house but if you don't have are around your house and if you just have pencils are that's fine they can easily do a ballpoint pen or a pencil picture of sketched out that is perfectly fine art is black and white dishes that is colorful so use what you have make it work draw a beautiful spring. landscape or picture after they listen to the story as far as writing and word work today we're still working with consonant vowel consonant words so those are words that start with a consonant and they have a short vowel valves in between right so it could be like the word cat has a short a in the middle of the seas are consonant the Azar valmet he's the consonant so just little words like that are consonant vowel consonant words today's movies in unscramble activity so they have a slide where the letters are in the wrong order but there's a picture at the top of the slide that gives them a hint or a clue as to what the word should be so maybe they'll be let's say there was a cat a picture of a cat at the top of the slide and the letters say TCA on a separate piece of paper they're going to put the the letters in the right order and they're going to write c a because the little picture is a cat so that's what they're working on forward work is consonant vowel consonant and their unscrambling I think it's called unscramble it today after that you have your subtraction slideshow as I mentioned in subtraction slides for day 2 make mistake so make sure you're just looking at the equation on the Emoji slide and after it looks like day 3 is accurate though so all the ones in say 3 or correct so if it's too confusing for you to go ahead and skip day too and date today 3 and then I think for your physical activity I've got a Koo Koo Kanga Roo I get loose video which is cute it's one of the videos that we used to do in class that they really liked and it's cute cuz it's like I feel like it snake it down and then there's a newer version of it so that'll be fine as well and then I'm on the lesson plan this week I think I did include a supplemental block so that's for those families who did make it back to the school site they picked up there that supplemental block right there is just to instruct you to work on what you got from school if you never made it back to school like I haven't gone back to school since the closure and that's a box should be used for how many families have phonics books they ordered from Amazon they have work books from different you know inherited from older siblings they've got the fun light puzzle books are coloring books so that supplemental block is kind of at your discretion far as what you would like them to work on outside of the things that was Potter's designing for them to do and then as far as PE physical activity you can always go to the Tappan Charter site and I'm go to Coach Hines page I know he's got some daily activities so they are something that you have to read and then it's kind of up to you how you do that in your house and what that looks like and where it looks like on top of that this week is very similar to the last week it'll be very routine and structure each day has a learning to do list and certain activities the only difference is you got science options two times down and I found enough science activities so that if you are a family interest doing science you have the ability to do to science activities a week until the end of the school year and then on Wednesdays is our leader me day so there are literally Derby activities I think I've planned up until antibodies only once a week and you are more than welcome to do more than that with leading me the biggest focus is kind of internalizing those habits of being proactive synergizing sharpening the saw putting first things first and just getting them articulate use the word so that when they do go back to school in the fall and they start first grade it's familiar that Foundation is there they've heard of the habits using the habits it's not something new to them so it'll be something really easy for them to adopt and pick up with and continue with has he started in kindergarten I think that's all I wanted to talk to you about I I want to applaud everyone for all the hard work you're doing I cannot imagine how you are juggling all the child-rearing not working the making of you are amazing superheroes and I don't think you guys are plotted enough so I am so impressed and I am so happy to be able to assist you
