Hello Kitty guess what we're going to do an 8-minute any math lesson because that's all classes minutes and I'll what we're going to do is we're going to do what we call that means that we're perfect the students for a concept that will be up and coming on at UConn Temple destruction right now they're working on addition and they'll be doing that this week as well as next week because of something they can work on independently with minimal support after the LIE started subtraction the basic concept of subtraction with story problems a story problem problem with picture to grasp pardon me while I switch screen right now so one thing they can do while they're doing this video is they can grab a paper and a pencil a dry erase board to dry erase marker or they can do mental math and just work at their figure is like a and because I'm a video you have the novelty of being able to press pause so if you need to go ahead and pause me and grab your stuff but I'm in the video because you can toss me right Ariana's first of the story screen and sorry I'm talking a little faster trying to beat that class dojo clock and it's got me on a track little story screen you'll see there's a school of goldfish and I'm going to pretend like these these fish they go to school they live there little school in the waters off the shore of La Jolla now I don't know about you but last summer I know that when I stuck my feet in the water at the beach it was pretty chilly even in the summer time so did you know that fish don't like cold water they don't like it either they like the warm water so I'll be selfish how to get to play Baby Sharks and Minnows without wave washed and it was so cold that water is wet and swim right out so the story is you had five baby goldfish swimming away playing at school and one swim away so Nita minus or take away once so if I'm using my hands like Miss Potter I'm going to count how many altogether play Magnus 1 2 4 v i c v v and one swim away so I can fold over one finger 5 4 take away one is for if you draw a picture of your fish what you can do if you can cross out one of your fish cuz once with X at 1 I'm going to do that by taking one of those little fishies away so ready Evan you get to count how many are left after you X doubt that once so I'm going to count one two three four fishes left to the same answer to different ways of doing right nice job skip to my next turn okay in this next let you know what I was watching that Disney movie Bambi and I just love that little rabbits bumper Anderson spring and you guys were watching about how flowers bloom a mystery story be kind of fun so don't bring his friend we're hopin dumping a jumping around the forest Bambi what does the sun start to go down and when the Sun goes down your to go home because you don't play after dark that's not safe well two of those bunnies were proactive and hops right out of home even before the sun went down so now we need to count how many bunnies are there altogether so I can use my fingers again what to 3 56788 buddies and we said to proactive bunny early so we're going to take away two fingers ready I had a full old one two and I can't wait to help my nose how many 1 4 5 6 my fingers I got six using a picture you going to draw your buddies if you can't draw the bunnies just do it. Or Italian right and then you're going to max out to Diane to take away two bunnies ready I denied account again 1 2 3 5 6 I got the same answer right because it take away two is six next job you're so pet back yeah I got this and I are going to my last ride Road yeah that's why we're having a fantastic ice cream party because it's fun Friday let's pretend it's not really Friday but let's pretend is fun Friday and it's real fun because there's ice cream everywhere now can you believe it but the floor teachers scarf down their ice cream faster than all the students before the suits even got to sit down and eat it so fast that they had the worst braids race in the world we'll see how many teachers are there there is Miss specs Miss Potter mystery Jelani and mr. Andrew Wright for teachers but first we got to figure out how many Sundays were there all together so I need my fingers again but you could do.
