The Dashboard is an online tool that shows how local educational agencies and schools are performing on the state and local indicators included in California's school accountability system. The Dashboard is a key part of major shifts in California K-12 schools, changes that have raised the bar for student learning, transformed testing and placed the focus on equity for all students. The Dashboard provides information that schools can use to improve.

In December we included holiday performances from every grade level in our monthly Student of the Month Assembly! This years festival included our school choir's first performance, readings of holiday traditions around the world, and even a dance off between our 5th grade boys and girls!
Once a month we celebrate our students who meet their Accelerated Reading goals by throwing them a party! Great job Tigers!
Every classroom had a blast celebrating Computer Science Education Week by participating in "Hour of Code". The Hour of Code is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries!
Our cheerleaders did an awesome job representing Tubman in the Mother Goose Parade this year! They chanted, marched and cheered tiger pride!
Tubman 6th graders just got back from 6th grade camp at Cuyamaca Outdoor School! They had a great time taking part in outdoor activities, character enrichment classes, and team building exercises. This was a great opportunity for them to learn more about themselves and their classmates!
Our Tubman Tiger Football team made it to the YMCA A Division playoffs! The next game will be Monday Nov. the 13th against Feaster at Memorial Prep. Please come out and support our team. Go Tigers!
5th grade went to The McGrath Family Biztown Monday! Students learned to take responsibility for their professional and educational futures!
Harriet Tubman Village Charter School is happy report that we just unveiled our new state of the art science lab facility thanks to our amazing science teacher Fardusa Sharif and the $100,000 Northrop Grumman Foundation's FabLab grant we were awarded last year. Out of hundreds of schools that applied, we were one of the 5 schools chosen to receive the grant.
Expeditions AR uses Google's AR technology to map the physical classroom and placed 3D objects. Students can walk all around the objects, get in close to spot details, and step back to see the full picture.
