All guardians, students, and community members are invited to attend a very special ribbon cutting celebration to mark the exciting new opening of Tubman’s Middle School Fab Lab on September 29th at 4:30pm. This event will include speeches from all stakeholders, a honorary ribbon cutting ceremony, and an exciting interactive science experience for all guests in attendance. Fablab is a science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics (STEAM) lab equipped with state-of-the-art learning tools and technologies. Thanks to the Northrop Grumman Foundation and the support of the students, parents, staff, community, and others. Harriet Tubman Village Charter School was one of the five schools across U.S. to win the Fab School Labs contest, receiving a grant of $100,000 to provide a rigorous learning environment that will prepare students for high demanding colleges and careers.
