"A child's life is like a piece of paper on which every person leaves a mark". -Chinese proverb
I am very excited to be part of the Harriet Tubman Village Charter School family!
I was born in Jalisco, Mexico, my family and I migrated to San Diego when I was 10 years old.
As an English Learner myself, I feel that this experience has shaped my career in Education.
I have been working with English Language Learner community since 2005. I graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelors in Spanish Teaching and a Minor in Religious Studies. I taught English as a Second Language in Spain for five years. I hold a Masters Degree in Educational Administration from National University and recently I have been involved in administrative roles in the Human Resources Department for various local school district offices.
I am eager to begin this new journey at Harriet Tubman Village Charter School and I look forward to meeting and serving our staff, students, and parents!
